Designed to captivate hearts and raise awareness, this six-episode series plunges viewers into the challenges and dreams of a young girl determined to choose her own path.

Through Aïcha, we discover an entire generation—promising young girls who, every day, face the weight of tradition, gender inequality, early marriage and lack of access to healthcare and education. But when her family and community come together to support her, Aïcha finds the strength to assert herself, continue her education, and prove that a girl who is supported can transform the future for everyone.

More than just an animation, Aïcha's Journey is an innovative tool for Communication for Social and Behavioural Change (CSBC). In one minute, it conveys essential messages about:

- the importance of keeping girls in school,

- access to healthcare and information,

- the rejection of early marriage and gender-based violence,

- the power of confidence and collective support.

Designed to be both educational and entertaining, this series is aimed at families, young people, teachers, community and religious leaders, and anyone who believes that change begins with knowledge.

Aicha is part of the major regional campaign Together for Her, led by SWEDD+ countries with support from UNFPA and funding from the World Bank. This unique initiative aims to mobilise communities to empower girls and women by promoting their role in building a sustainable and equitable future.
